General:

• Seal style:
  • 1/8″ wide final trim seal with trim 1/4″ above.
  • 1/4″ wide final trim seal with trim 3/16″ above.
  • 3/8″ wide final trim seal with trim 1/8″ above.
• Materials accepted: Polyethylene, polypropylene, Tyvek, Poly Mylar, foil/PE, Cryovac, co-extrusions, nylon, and polylaminates.
• Frame: Conveyor and sealing head are mounted on an integrated 4 ft high stand that allows for adjustable sealing height with hand crank height adjuster. Provides 10″ of height adjustment.
• Conveyor: Supplied with 6″ wide slider bed conveyor with overall length of 5′-0″ and driven from discrete Bodine AC synchronous gear motor from a common KB Electronics AC drive that also powers the Teflon
• Sealing assembly: Chrome plated brass seal bar assemblies with a post nickel plated cooling section. Heating section consists of a 5″ long rear bar with a 305 W element and two 2-1/2″ long front bars each with a 125 W element. Uses heavy duty 6 mil thickness Teflon bands, left and right to isolate the substrate to be sealed from the sealing bars.
• Headroom: Trim takes place after sealing and therefore the sealing head will accommodate up to 6″ of bag above the seal centre-line.
• Sealing head adjustment: Crank handle vertical positioning of sealing head can be varied through a total range of 10″.
• Bag transport: Two sets of ½” wide urethane belts, with one set located above and the other set below the seal bands, and are responsible for positively transporting the bag through the sealer.
• Speed: Up to 45 fpm with two ultra quiet, synchronized AC gear motors.
• Scrap removal: Supplied with 1/3 Hp vacuum blower, 120 VAC with 4″ flexible hose and stainless-steel oval flanged nozzle at inlet. Scrap is directed into a 3 ft long knit bag.
• Trim: Long life, titanium nitride coated, 2″ diameter, counter-rotating knife blade is located at the discharge following sealing.
• Air supply: No compressed air required.
• Compatibility: Can be used either with manual feed or in conjunction with semi-automatic bagging systems.
• Approval(s): USDA. All electrical components are UL approved. Included is Electrical Safety Authority inspection and certification.

Features:

• Accurate CAL digital temperature controller maintains +/- 2 degrees temperature with 500-degree F maximum.
• Conveyor has washdown white urethane belt with stainless steel lacing.

Structure:

• Welded heavy duty chassis steel construction.
• Stainless steel shafting and heavy duty gearing in the belt drive assemblies.
• All covers are stainless steel.
